About Us
We are a multidisciplinary communication design studio based out of Bangalore, India. Founded by alumni of the National Institute of Design, we work across print and digital mediums to create engaging brands, products, and experiences for a diverse range of clients. Rooted in shared purpose and the magic of storytelling, we strive to craft intuitive, impactful work that stands the test of time.

Our Name
Our name is derived from the Bengali word kori ("koh-ree"), a verb meaning “to do” or “make.” As a noun, kori refers to small seashells (also called 'cowrie') historically used as currency. This dual meaning unites creativity and commerce, reflecting our belief in value by design.
Our Logo
Drawing from the concept of the seashell, our logo embodies the idea that beauty can be found in the smallest of details. Its spiralling form echoes principles of growth, balance, and harmony found throughout the natural world.

We are a small team of curious humans who care deeply about all things design. With different backgrounds, strengths, and expertise, our shared passion for what we do brings us together to create thoughtful, impactful experiences.
Rahi De Roy Founder & Creative Lead
Rahi holds a Masters (M.Des) in Graphic Design from the National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad and a Bachelors in Visual Art (BVA) from the Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda. A recipient of the Jeram Patel Award (2020), she was selected to exhibit at the Tate Modern in the group show ‘Collection 2.0.’ Her creative practice spans art, design, illustration, research and writing. She has worked with Samsung Design and various media consultancies before starting Studio Kori in 2025.
Aditya K Senior Design Consultant
Aditya holds a Masters (M.Des) in Graphic Design from the
National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad and a B.Arch from Jamia Milia Islamia. With experience across corporate, startup and studio environments, he brings a systems-led approach, strong product thinking, and strategic clarity to projects at Studio Kori.
Rohini Sen Strategy & Experience Consultant
Rohini holds a Masters in Psychology from the University of Chicago and a BS in Cognitive Science from the University of California, San Diego. With a background in behavioural science, health innovation and content strategy, she brings a research-led approach to strategy and human experiences at Studio Kori.
Sakshee Jaiswal Design Consultant
Sakshee holds an M.Des in Graphic Design from the National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad and a Bachelor of Fine Arts
(BFA) in Applied Arts from Benares Hindu University. Her interest
in ed-tech and game design informs a narrative-driven approach shaped by strong illustration skills and a keen eye for detail.
